Hello Bobbin,
Thank you. I am really pleased with it myself.
The time: I started converting a DivX copy to frames in April 2003. That conversion process took 6 days 9 hours 43 minutes 48 seconds. The resolution was wrong and the credits were missing so I started over with the DVD. I also had a nice upgrade from a P1 166MHz to an P3 750MHz in that time. Converting the DVD took 1 day 20 hours 25 minutes 37 seconds (3.46 times faster). Most of the time was spent doing other things but the time from my first trials to the finished DVD was April 2003 to December 2003.
I was not planning on doing either of the next two movies (unless WB asked me to - heh). The post above on October 6 by Andy was someone wanting to do the next movie if I would tell him how. Using the font from the movie is precisely what I was planning on doing. If I had used it then I would have had to rename the project (j/k). Seriously, though, when I learned that the font was reversed letters, numbers and Japanese Katakana characters I felt that real computer ASCII would be more appropriate.
Thank you for your response and ideas!
Jack

***k sakes I just downloaded this off suprnova because I thought it was the original matrix movie. I thought you were just using ASCII as a screen name or group name or something. Thanks a lot for wasting my time **s clown. I don't see how anyone could actually watch this for more than 1 minute. What a journey into pointlessness.

I edited out some of your more colorful words. Any furthur posts by anyone that uses language like that will be deleted. If you are incapable of expressing your views without using such words; express yourself someplace other than my forum.
I guess I should feel some pride in the fact that I did not help you in your quest of copyright infringement. I have a hard time swallowing the fact that you can spend the time to download a 4.4 gig movie and complain about it and yet are incapable of spending $10 to buy the 5 year old movie.

Hello Zane,
Yes, there is sound throughout. I hope that you download one of the two samples before you spend the time downloading the DVDR.
I am not the author of the html bullet-time clip. That clip, or at least the one that I have seen, uses a much higher character count than I do. A result of that is the html clip provides a much sharper image than mine.
Midnight January 15th, the one year anniversary, the completed downloads count was 3656. This is lower than the actual count because of tracker downtime but it is as good as it is going to get. Right at 10 downloads per day for a year. Yay.
Whow, Thanks Jack. You gave me "Neo-vision", lol, and I loved it. Your inginuity is admirable, I beleive this should be widely distributed, but that's up to you. Took me three days to download this beauty, and it was well worth the wait.
